Clean Streets Volunteers
Wrigley Clean Streets – Funded by a City Community Grant
How you can help to make Wrigley a cleaner and safer place to live? How about volunteering to help with one of the Saturday morning street cleanups!
A litter-free community increases property values, helps reduce crime, and attracts tourists and business.
Clean Streets represents an effort with both residents and local businesses to create a cleaner, healthier, and safer Wrigley. We are hoping to arrange for this to occur every Saturday morning (as weather permits) – the more who volunteer the more we can accomplish and the faster we can finish. The focus will be the major streets within Wrigley: Willow and Spring (from the 710 to Pacific), and Pacific and Magnolia (from PCH to Wardlow). We will also clean the businesses on these streets and work with the management/owners to address daily litter. As time permits we can walk other streets within Wrigley – though it is our vision that the volunteers will work within the neighborhood to keep their own streets/blocks clean.
All tools, gloves, and bags will be provided. You even get a T-Shirt!
